wembley roof

Does anyone know for sure whether Wembley has a closing roof?

Some reports say roof just covers stands. Others say it closes completely in 56 min to cover pitch as well.

If the roof covers the pitch why was it not closed yesterday?

That pitch was atrocious. What has happened to the lucious wembley turf?

Yes the roof closes totally, so I understand.

I've no idea why the roof wasn't closed for yesterdays game as the weather was correctly forecasted to be shite.

Yes the pitch was appalling, but the Croatians didn't seem to struggle with it did they?

I hear whispers that they are blaming the state of the pitch on the NFL game, but that was weeks ago so it sounds like they're clutching at straws to me.

The amount they get paid they should be able to play on a pitch with a little water and mud on it FFS! What do they want?? To play in the summer, in the daytime and when it`s dry and not get a bit wet??
Poofs. Remember the 70`s and 80`s, pitches knee deep in mud, and sand when it was a bit icy, didn`t hear a lot of moaning about the state of the pitches then did we. Because the players were not over paid pampered wankers who don`t like to get muddy. Evil or Very Mad
