The Football League board agreed to Leeds's suggestion of an appeal provided that Leeds agreed this would be its only recourse, with the 3rd August Agreement including a formal waiver of any other right to challenge the decision." |

Dear oh dear |
Yet again, this is the main point imho - Why would the FL demand this course of action?
Why does any appeal have to be conditional? like this obviously was
If you go the Magistrate Courts do you sign an agreement saying you wont appeal to a higher court if you lose? Of course you dont!!
The biggest problem is the self serving this condition had in the "end game". Because Leeds were FORCED to sign this agreement (anyone disagreeing on this point??) the whole independant appeal focused pretty much solely on the agreement itself being signed saying Leeds had agreed to the initial appeal
Hasnt anyone heard of Catch 22??
If we hadnt signed the agreement, they wouldnt have allowed the forst appeal
We did sign the gareement so any future appeal focuses on our "agreement"
Again - this is GUN to the HEAD diplomacy

| They agreed, we were lied to, so it seems. On the day of the decision they rolled over and died because they knew they had no case. If Leeds have a case, I would expect to see it in court some time soon. If we don't then let's forget and move on. We are what we are, and that is a D1 club. |
