Any body got any tips?
I might go for Bewleys Berry (it lives in the village where I work)
or
Snowy Morning (cos as you all know they are my best kind of mornings!)

I've got Chelsea Harbour (14/1) in the sweepstake at work.
I've also scattered around an each way bet on Comply or Die (10/1) and a few rank outsiders Nadover (100/1), Ardaghey (66/1) and Fundamentalist (50/1) since it's the National |

I was going to go for Comply or Die but the odds just didn't seem good enough (7/1) when I was looking *sigh
Got 5th place through Paddy power with Bewleys Berry (or whatever it was called) - 5yr old daughter got 3rd with Snowy Morning (cos it snowed this morning )
Can't retire on 7.53 though *sigh |
Don't worry mate - the £5.50 I've got coming when I collect my winnings means I won't be retiring to Monaco just yet too!
Mrs ravey also got the 4th place nag on a 50p e/w bet, so thats another quid or two towards the bills |

I have a Betfair account and put on two quick bets before setting off for London yesterday:
(Bet 1) £10 on Comply Or Die to win the Grand National @ 11/1
(Bet 2) £10 on Portsmouth to beat W.B.A. @ just over evens, to get my money back if Comply Or Die didn't win..!! |

| The Mrs. had a fiver on the winner (plus a couple of others) so a nice £40 win for her - I never bet on the lottery that is the Grand National (or anything else - gambling's a mug's game - ever see a poor bookie?) so as I share when she loses, I reckon £20's mine!
