Do I recall this man almost became our chairman at one point?  Or am I dreaming?

Nevertheless, fair play to him for attracting the interest of big US investors who have now bought Derby County, will be "clearing" their £25m debts, and not taking them in to admin and clearing them via the back-door, just clearing them like proper businesman and have also promised Paul Jewell substantial transfer funds.

What a shame our own "chairman", despite promises to the contrary, appears singularly incapable of attracting any new investment to Leeds United whatsoever, let alone potential buyers.. Evil or Very Mad

Of all the teams that should be prime for investment it's us. Worldwide name, fanbase plus massive potential if we get back to the Prem yet not a whisper. Got to agree with you about Bates there but wonder if he wants outside money. Think not.

Bates can't sell till next summer.

Yes he could attract investors but he wants to be able to sell singularly and not share his windfall with investors.

But to sell well we NEED to be promoted.

Would you do a multi-million £ deal with Bates? Especially considering the uncertainty about who owns what and how much is owed to who?
