You will notice that Sydney doesnt have a Grand Slam tennis tournament there - shit city really

oh and it doesnt have:
F1 grandprix  Sad
Superbikes  Sad
a decent test match crowd  Sad

but it does have the Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras  Very Happy

Melbourne has to import all those foreign sports events and persons to make it bearable

Sydney is just great on its own merits.  Twisted Evil

As for the tips

Women's - Henin

Men's - Federer if he is fit enough, if not Roddick.

Night match and a poor opponent though, but he did look superb.

Why do you find Henin annoying?

No-one more annoying than Maria 'the scream' Sharapova as far as I'm concerned.

Henin to me always came across as a cold sulky bugger.
Seems to have mellowed a tad, commentators were saying same thing, appears Little dear is happier now, she has split with her husband, and has her family back..

I am not a huge cricket fan, but my experience of tennis is that it ruins a test series, even when, as usual, England are getting hammered.
