In the report above it uses the link that Leeds are after Boyd of Leyton Orient and that Bassett was in the crowd to watch LO versus tranmere however Boyd wasn't playing as he was injured  Shocked

Don't worry I wasn't   I just couldn't believe that the person writing the article finished it - surely when they got to the bit "he was injured and not playing" the rest of the story fell a bit flat   journo's for you

Seen Boyd quite a bit and I'm not sure if he's worth £500k.  Yes he's scored a few goals, but he's quite lazy and often drifts along in games.  I don't think he's too different to what we have already in support of Becks (Tres and Constantine) and that sort of money would be better spent elsewhere.

500k would buy both Fleetwood and Jacko, BSP top scorers, remembering that Fleetwood has scored 25 goals so far this season, and Jacko playing in a team in 16th place has scored 16 goals
