Oh good - I might go see that this weekend then.
Local Hero - twas on during the night and I $ky+'d it.
9.75/10 - bloody excellent film, in fact one of the best films ever. |

No. To be honest I'd never even heard of the books before the film came out.
Like you say looks like good entertaining fun. |

Books are weird.....read all three and none the wiser! The 'elephants' with a wheel for legs are very strange.
worth reading
1.northern lights (golden compass in yankeeland)
2. subtle knife
3. amber spyglass.
Phillip Pulman - dark trilogy

Enchanted - 7/10.
A Disney film that gently pokes fun at all those old Disney films. Plus Susan Sarandon looking H.O.T. as the evil queen... |

The second in the Bourne series and part of the first in the Bourne series
-10000000000000 / 10
Absolute tripe that destroyed two very absorbing thriller novels.

Monty Python's The Meaning Of Life 8.5/10.
Was on New Years Day at about 1 in the morning after the New Years Eve Big Ben show. Surreal, but very very funny. |
