Off to the Sydney FC v Qld Roar game later. I'll let you know how much we won by or how lucky your lot were to win or escape with a draw

I've got a feeling Beckham may be there to be unveiled to the crowd as an appetizer for next week's friendly -

and down to 10 men for last 10 mins

How did young Kruse play Harry, he's been a bit of a sensation lately, bigger things are ahead for the lad for sure, cant see him stayin in OZ for to long...

Well that was a garbage performance from both sides. Was disappointed with Qld's negative attitude - only used long balls - especially as they had been going so well of late. Sydney probably had more chances but the Roar had the two best ones - luckily they fell to Reinaldo...a complete and utter oxygen thief of a footballer. Sydney had David Zdrilic playing in the midfield which says it all...for those Upover...it's the equivalent of playing Brian Deane in the midfield but at least Deane had some pace when he was younger.

Didn't notice Kruse much Baldy - you are right he's been great of late - as I say too much long ball stuff from the Roar. Your other young winger - the one who plays for the Olyroos, can't recall his name, had a good game.

I hope this result doesn't turn out to be an omen for the night. Like Leeds, a win for Sydney would have put us in 3rd spot and like Leeds, a draw leaves us 5th.
