Former Great Britain captain Mike Gregory has died aged 43 after a four-year battle with a neurological disease, a family spokesman has announced .

Very sad news, a player i held in high regard and had the privelage of meeting him several times.
The best captain Warrington wolves ever had.

What a tragedy. He was a great player and by all accounts a terrific fella. A mate of mine used to play with him at Warrington and he says he was one of the finest blokes hes ever met in the game. A top notcher. Very Sad
