I am more shocked and amazed that England are in the final than ANYONE on this site!!!!
But no we have the same old tired excuses from the "celtic nations" OOO England are boring, England don't play well England are blah blah fucking blah.
Does it hurt you guys so much to say "Wow England are in the final of the world cup? Come on the lads"?
Or is it the old style xenophobic shite of "we cannot support England because they are the auld enemy" or "we cant support England because in nineteen seventy fucking something JPR and blah blah blah would have won the world cup!"
I am so sick of it I really am, if you look at the comments on this site alone, if England actually manage to win a game it's a fluke, it's an aberration, It's damaging to the whole game, but if Scotland, Wales or Ireland win a game against us its putting the sword to the old enemy and managing a win against anyone else is something of a miracle and it is something you deserve (despite how you won the game)
You say England are boring? How many of you would like to say that you have a player of Jonny's calibre? You say England are not good for the sport by winning like they have. Well would you be saying that if England had gone out in the group stages and either Scotland, Wales or Ireland were in the final by playing the same way?
Face facts, you just can't stand that England are in the final and it hurts you, we could have played the most scintillating rugby known to man and be in the same position but you would still moan about the fact that England are in the final. Because you can't help but do anything else! I notice that if England lose to Ireland, Scotland or Wales then it is a cause for celebration and ridicule, if England win a game against Wales, Ireland or Scotland, then it is "the same boring England" "you are nothing without jonny" " and another thing, Blah Blah fucking Blah"
Personally from a fan of English rugby that stretches back before Jona Lumu stomped mike catt into the turf in south Africa, I am shocked and fucking ecstatic that we are in the final and that win or lose it is an achievement that we are even there, but saying that, if Wales, Scotland, Ireland or even France were in the same position I would be supporting them to win. Could you do the same? Sadly I think not!!
It doesn't matter to you that attendances went up in Wales, Scotland and Ireland because England won the world cup four years ago or that more children started to play the game instead of football in Scotland, Wales and Ireland, It doesn't matter to you that England was the first "NORTHERN HEMISPHERE" side too win a world cup after it being dominated by the "SOUTHERN HEMISPHERE" nations, you are so reliant on your prejudices that you cannot even admit to the the honest fact that you wish you were in the same position as England.
Quite frankly i'm expecting the usual response of "you wouldn't be there except for jonny" "the wins you got were flukes" "you blah blah blah" but frankly I don't care, We are the world champions until Saturday, can anyone of you say that?
All i can say is that i wish the lads best of luck and i hope we come out on top. I will now make way for the usual xenophobic shite that prevails.

England always get the shite from everyone. Fuck em!! jealousy rears it's ugly head everytime we do beat em. Then the gloating when we lose. Being an national England fan is VERY VERY much like being a Leeds fans imho!!

To Austraila and the "celtic" nations (and if you read the fucking history books we are still part of that realm...  ), we might be shit

I'm nervous about it...we may rest on our laurels being such big favourites. SA teams having a habit of losing when it really counts. |
Maybe the drubbing they gave us at the start of the tourni will give them a false sense of security? Here hoping. Mind you, it could be mind games and England fold under the presure of the aforementioned drubbing? Who knows!! |

I follow England but surely you cant be that deluded - Wugby, Twickers style, is played in 4 feckin countries - NZ, Sarf Efrika, Whales and South of Sheffield - Everyone else plays football
And as for the WE Flipping beat you bollox, at what exactly

Olympics? Nope
Darts? OK you got us there
FOOTBALL? Er NO you didnt. At least Australia gets to play in major football tournaments!!!!
