England won? Ah well
Still the best sign Ive sign at the football was at the England V Australia friendly played aboyt 4 years ago when the Aussies rolled England with Kewell scoring
The sign (in Green and Gold) said
" If we win this, your shit at everything"

| I found it very disturbing to see all those hard men in gold and green shrink to their knees and cry at the final whistle.....So sad.

| To be honest, I expected a stuffing. I would not normally gloat over such a victory beacause goes around comes around, but for the fact that the Aussie coach has been all over the press...England are hated across Australia, England will be crushed, England will eat humble pie for 2003....Posturing like the school bully waiting to beat up the small kid with glasses (and amongst the top 5 or 6 teams in the world, England are the small kid with glasses).

Getting back on topic, it was good to see Lewis deliberately not finish the Shanghai GP this morning just so we could have a gripping 3 way challenge for the title in the Brazilian GP in a fortnights time.
It would have been no fun at all if the season finale, which just happens to be on at tea time across Europe, had nothing left to race for would it?
Stage managed? Heaven forbid? It's like the WWE....(a cynic might say) |
