An inside source tells me that Flo dropped his wage packet on his foot... Twisted Evil

We didn't. It was part of the original deal that brought him to the club that he could choose to extend his stay with us for another season if he wanted to.

Since he was crocked and no one else wanted him in that state, he took up his option. The PR machine then put it across that he wanted to replay the club for its faith in him, but I think we all knew he'd be crocked 90% of the time.

The thing with Flo is that he can score anytime (well as long as hes on the pitch). He can grab you the goal when the team is struggling. Over a long season he might just be the difference between clinching a playoff spot and just failing. He is one of those players who could easily grab the winner at wembley. Yes,everyone knows well be lucky to get ten games out of him but he can do a lot of good in those ten games.

He can, but I wouldn't hold my breath. All in all, I doubt what he does will justify the wages he takes home during all the time he spends on the treatment table.

To be honest, I'm looking forward to Constantine being fit a lot more. He'll have seen what Beckford and Kandol have done and he'll know he needs to be on fire to win himself a first team slot. Flo probably doesn't care much whether he plays or not at this stage in his career.

I think you are being harsh on Flo. Look at his and the other players reaction when he scored against Southend. You could see he was delighted to score and you could see that other players really like him.
Who knows how crucial his goal then could be as without it we might have simply gone on to draw, or even lose, the game and lost momentum. I think from day 1 he was always going to be a player to come of the bench after letting the pace and power of Kandol and Beckford try to batter down defences. Constantine is likely to be direct competition for Beckford and Kandol as an out and out starter.

The point is Flo is likely to be one of the highest paid players in the current squad next to Thompson and Westlake. One game is hardly justofication for a season and a half of warming the treatment room.

He might contribute something more, but I think on the whole he was a panic signing and he'll keep the physios far busier this season than he will the coaches.

Undoubtably his wages will be amongst the highest but it is hardly like they will be astronomical and it shouldn't be held against him. I'm sure he wants to be out on the field rather than in physio.

True. Also one of the highest £££ earned/minutes played ratio too.
