they aren't going to be able to agree a CVA with HMRC, and conference rules mean that a two division relegation would be the punishment.
this also means that Altrincham may be reprieved from relegation for the third consecutive season

If they can't sort this PDQ (hours rather than days it would sem) then they get relegated twice, ending up in the Unibond League.
This, it seems, will effectively be the end of them.
A crying shame - I work in Halifax and work with a lad who is a die hard fan and is always organising stuff to raise funds for them.
A salutory reminder of where we might have ended up. |
