Indeed. I've bought lager today simply because it's too hot to be drinking bitter.  Exclamation

Regular readers will know I'm a bitter man, but have you noticed you can now get lager with a widget in the can - like you've been able to do with "smooth" bitter for ages?

Fosters and Kronenbourg, two exotic foreign sounding tipples brewed in Tadcaster under licence are the first two brands to take the plunge.

Apparently the "smaller bubbles" make for a smoother drink.
Having tried the Kronenbourg, I have to say that I'm less than impressed - the standard stuff seems better to me...

I`m sticking with meths. No widgets needed.  Cool
