It puzzles me how someone can secure a place at University (or is it the former Polytechnic?) without a basic grasp of spelling and punctuation.
There you go, another random irritation | Cheers for that.
I'm at the real University I'll have you know |
Bah! Students today!
Some of us have enrolled at the University of Life, after completing years of study at the School of Hard Knocks.... | I was on a fast track system through the school of hard knocks when i was younger...came out with a diploma in telling Jocks where to shove it |
Thought you went to Oundle | I'm offended I live in Oundle, went to Stamford School, there's a big rivalry between Stamford, Oundle and Oakham. I was in the state system till year 8 in Oundle
How dare you |

Posting a comment on Boxy's quiz and then having to go back and refresh the page before it's actually posted.. |

Its an arse isn't it - worse thing is if you are playing as a different member of a different quiz (I play the websponge one which is how I discovered it) - if you don't log out of one it still allows you to post a comment on the one you "think" you are posting only for it to appear on the other comments box on the other quiz - therefore a few of the other quizzers keep wondering why I keep swearing at someone called CW when CW doesn't even exist in the quiz table
(there was probably a much shorter way of stating the above but I'm busy today ) |
It's fine as it is, Mate..made I larf actually.. |

Human Resources Policies.
Particularly the new one, introduced just in time for Crimbo that states we can't receive gifts from people we have business dealings with at work. And any gifts we do get have to be sent to the HR Manager for donation to charity...
I bet I can think of one department who'll be having a right old Xmas knees up... |

Tossers who walk into the cinema AFTER the film has started, take an age to choose their seats even though the place is half empty and then have a protracted discussion about what they might have missed while chowing down on a hundredweight of popcorn and a gallon on fizzy pop...
It should be the law that once the show has started (like a proper theatre) that is it, if you ain't in, tough.
The film we saw today had THIRTY minutes of trailers / adverts before it and still people managed to arrive AFTER the film had started....grrrr! |
