windowsWe have just had the man from Everest here to give us a quote on new windows.for two victorian bays, two victorian sash and one casement window, how much do you think? He said expensive........ he quoted £40,000 
My response was Jeeeeesus! and I have been laughing to myself for the last half an hour 
£40K......is he taking the piss......I want a new house for £40K (well almost  )

I know sash windows are expensive to replace / repair, but £40k
A nearby neighbour of ours is having the house renovated and extended. They had the fron windows, all saches, and maybe 5 of them, renovated / replaced. When I next see them I will ask.....Can't imagine it was that much though. We had all of our windows replaced at much less than that, all Crittall leaded lights, double glazed and gas filled.....They are having a larf |

Craig Doyle (No relation to Ray Doyle) Was on one of these Holiday / Wish You Were Here type programmes. Once tipped as a rising star in telly circles. Now occasionally presents sport for ITV, usually in the dead of the night. He's also the 'new' face of Everst windows, following in the footsteps of Ted Moult. In their current campaign they've just refitted the windows at the Tan Hill Inn. And as for being able to reduce their price by £27k in under a week? I'd hang on as they'll be paying you by the end of the month. Or tell them to sod off for taking the p*ss in the first place. |
