Have been to game today and felt more optimistic. Felt players tried hard and we created more chances in match than seen for a long time. Wigan scored first in 43rd minute. We eventually lost 2-1 but not too disheartened. Seen enough from today's match to give hope for this coming season. We have players who want to play for us and wear the shirt with pride. Clapped off pitch at end with players doing same to us. Quite a good atmosphere - although some anti Bates stuff felt it was more positive. Crowd approx 7500.

I am depressed at the thought of thinking about what the future brings for Leeds Utd, clubs as little as yeovil will be upping there games as it will be the biggest club they have ever played and a 3 points against us would be like winning the world cup for them !!
Now with this 15 point deduction, you can guess that the favorite song for opposing fans will be "Going down" Going down" i can here it echoing in my ears allready.
