Kandol was utter sh*te from the moment he came on, shot every time he got the ball, never picked a pass missed loads of header and fell over in the box a couple of times when there was no one anywhere near him.
I also have a missing persons report out for on Jonathon Howson who disappeared in the second half, want to know why Macca thought that taking Prutts off was a good idea? and want to know why he still thought that Johno at right back was the best option?
Seb should have come on far earlier for Howson who was abismal even before he went missing.

Kandol at least caused some problems but his shooting was abysmal as was his positioning and reactions - beckford looked lively BUT that was watching it on sky - he could have been a lazy fucker all the time he wasn't on the screen for all I know (someone at the game can answer that) - WTF was Howson left on?????? He looked like he had a mare to me? Just crushed at the moment - christ knows how I'll feel if we can't turn them over at their place

I never said Kandol's shooting was any good, just he troubled em in the air, and was our only player to do so, but hey what do the likes of, sky commentators, norman hunter, eddie gray or poor little me know about it  [/img]

sky commentators said pointedly he was crap apart from getting in there for the goal, they were struggling to understand why he was on other than beckford being protected with the injury he's carrying

Totally disagree Ben, sky commentators never at all said that, they said he was the only Leeds player to cause their centre halfs any trouble in the air, and they even stated that Beckford was hobbling prior to him being taken off.

just after the goal was scored, they said he could easily be criticised for doing nothing since he came on but that should be counted.
after he shot for about the 4th time from 25 yards one of them went off on how he was continually trying to shoot and not passing it to the options that had been there each time

Much as I like him, Beckford barely won a header all night (Freedman won more than he did in fact) and Kandol won more headers in the 20 minutes he played. If nothing else, Kandol is a handful and caused the Carlisle defence to stutter and allowed Freedman to nip in and score.
Funny how all of Beckford's wayward shots, when teammates were better placed to receive a pass from him, appear to have been missed by many on here.

in the 60 mins he was on Becks played less dumbass shots when there were far better options than Kandol did in his first 10 dreadful minutes.

Whatever way you look at it Kandol has scored more recently than Becks and probably has a better goals to minutes played ratio than Becks too. Love him or hate him he also bought Freedman the time to score our crucial goal last night.

Unfortunately there is never going to be an agreement here, he did feck all for the goal that he shouldn't have been able to do every time he was in the box and he didn't.

Football is all about opinions, Ben, and that's what helps to keep it interesting. What is fact, however, is that Becks played for 70 mins and we didn't score, Tres played for 20 mins and we did. Like it or not, he also played a big hand in the goal itself too.
Let's just hope Becks is fit and raring to go tonight and adds to his tally for the first time in far too long!
