Tribute bands

I went to see Livewire, an AC/DC tribute band, in Scumchester last night who were excellent. They had 2 singers to reflect Bon and Brian (the latter unfortunately putting on a very poor geordie accent!) and the guitarist had all of Angus's mannerisms.

I just find it really odd that we were clapping a band who, in their way, were doing exactly the same to the original,  and when the crowd were chanting "Angus, Angus" before the encore TO AN IMITATOR it was very surreal.

I've seen Bjorn Again twice and they were very good, although obviously I'm not old enough to remember much about the original Abba.... Wink

 - first time mrs ravey wanted to see them (and they were very good actually) and then they were performing at an event work took us to as a freebie (oh for those long gone days when we got freebies.....)
