total wipeout

saturday night's new entertainment option, should be total crap, but is actually hilarious!

I had high hopes for this new show, fronted by The Hamster himself, but I have to say it's an unbridled pile of cack.

Really it is - I can't see how they can dress up a poor quality rehash of Takeshi's Castle as prime time Saturday evening television. It goes on for far too long, nearly all last nights contestants were annoying idiots and Hammond isn't even there, that dozy bird off the Big Breakfast is on site, while he waffles over the top from the safety of a studio several continets away.

Marks: 0/10.

Bring back Hole In The Wall.

well i thought it was funny, and an improvement on Hole In The Wall, probably because it was Hammond is presenting it rather than Dale Winton (who just gets more annoying).
mind you when they got to the last round,it all got a bit too serious. and did they say the prize fund was 10k? for running round a couple of obstacle courses? i thought we were in the middle of a credit crunch  Rolling Eyes

oh, and of course they were all idiots, when do you ever get anyone in that sort of show who isn't ?

I agree Ravey - takeshi's castle is quality and this was tripe

Bad decision by Hammond I'm afraid as he will have to suffer trhis until it runs its course (which can't be too long)

And to fill it with complete twats was just ridiculous - there is a difference between having a few nutters and having twats and that lot last night were twats

How hard can it be to remake Takeshi's castle?
