I have read elsewhere that Tomi Ameobi has gone on loan to Scunny. How does that work? How can our players go on loan to a club in a higher league than us? Surely the loan system works that the players go lower divs or surely if they are good enough to go on loan higher they are more than good enough to play for us Confused

It usually works that way Bron which just goes to show that we are in the wrong league and should therefore automatically be put into the Premier League. Would we have lost 7-1 to Everton?...Well probably yes, but that's beside the point

I don't know why you lads are complaining about Derry...we have Thommo and he should last at least 35 minutes next time he plays.

There's no laws about it, no deal has been agreed for purchasing him at the end of the loan so no money needs to change hands..

In all seriousness, with the respect he's shown to the JPT and FA Cup, Wise should have given Derry (and Ameobi for that matter) a few run-outs in those two competitions and weighed up their form properly, instead of just farming them out.

Another example of Wise's shortcomings in this department was Becks' prolific form for Scunny last season when we couldn't hit a barn-door with a beach-ball whilst fighting for our Championship lives.
