The taxman comethI know its about Rushden but this was posted on TDF today and I thought someone might like it:

The match was originally scheduled to last for the normal 90 minutes but the Customs and Excise boys insisted on adding an addtional 17.5%, thus extending the match to 105 minutes and 45 seconds.
However, the Inland Revenue chaps then decided that this should be reduced by 40%, in line with their normal practices, so the duration of the match will now be 63 minutes and 27 seconds (after income tax and VAT).
Yellow and red cards will be replaced by compliance notices and P.45's respectively.
Finally, match result and reports are being sent immediately after the game by courier so it is unlikely that anyone will ever find out what happened!
