Taxi for RichmondThought you might be interested that much loved former Bradford City Chairman and Leeds United Director Geoffrey Richmonds sons taxi firm has secured the taxi contract at Leeds Bradford International Airport.
With this in mind, please do your best to ensure that you have alternative travel plans in place if you're travelling, to avoid using this company and lining the family coffers.

I'm not entirely sure how a private hire firm will be able to offer "cabs off the rank" at the airport, or how business types arriving from across the globe and expecting a proper "London" type taxi will relish the thought of a trip into town in a Toyota Carina, but I'm sure we shall see in the fullness of time.

Leeds Airport seems to go out of its way to discourage travellers and this is just another example. How can Scumchester or Liverpool allow all taxis to drop off and Leeds cant. I'd rather travel from Leeds anytime but its just getting too hard. As if the frigging journey there isnt hard enough already.

I reckon things will change dramatically now it has been sold to a private concern.
