players??why can't we have one/some of these."Birmingham manager Alex McLeish is set for a major clear-out at the club, releasing five players. Martin Taylor, Rowan Vine, Olivier Tebily, Neil Kilkenny and Neil Danns are all on their way out. (Star) " Never heard of them. don't know if they are any good, BUT they are available!!!

Can't see Taylor, Vine, Tebily or Danns dropping two divisions..even to play for us. Haven't a clue who Kilkenny is, which is probably why he's out as well..!!

Vine scored a lot for Luton over last couple of seasons - decent striker and probably less that 6' tall so we could stop hoofing the ball up front all the time....then again | ||||||

Taylor is a former Blackburn academy player. Central defender, fairly experienced. Vine used to play for Luton and I think was recently on loan with QPR. They may come in for him too. Tebily, I know the name but con't remember who else he played for. Kilkenny was never really in the first team picture a Brum but has had some impressive spells on loan, lately at Oldham. He was part of the New Year's Day team that stuffed us at home. Neil Danns... former Colchester midfielder, with tendency to get podgy. Again, moved to Brum and has done nothing there. League One is probably his level, but I'm not sure we should sign him. |
