Player abuse from fansAnother player is moaning about the abuse they get from fans . This time it's loveable scouse ding bat Jamie Carragher in an effort to justify his stupidity at Luton. He reacted to a bunch of Luton Fans dressed in Harry Enfield type wigs etc giving it the calm down calm down.
Without doubt there is a line whereby banter turns into abuse and abuse turns into unacceptable abuse. This isn’t even in the second category whereas say the constant savage abuse of Fergie from behind the dugout at Arsenal I would suggest crosses into the unacceptable. Where do you think the line is drawn between acceptable and not? |

Banter is harmless, abuse can get personal and we have all seen it in person or on telly. Some prima donnas over react, bin dipping twat in article above a good example.
Something will happen again, like that nice frog chap we had jumping into the stands to have a word, albeit feet first into the blokes chest. Racist abuse should be clamped down on harshly, [is calling Butt a useless ginger twat considered racist?] All to common in all football grounds and sadly a section of the kop still give coloured players a hard time. Sad to think that neanderthal man is still dragging his knuckles in 2008

But f*ck them if they can't take a joke - £30,000 a week for playing football and getting all het up 'cos some blokes in curley wigs are telling you to "Calm down!"? Muppet - he should try doing the shit jobs the rest of us have to week in, week out. (PS - not condoning racist abuse in anyway, that is a seperate matter that should rightly be the subject of immediate action) |
