I am off to Gran Canaria on the 15th.  So am still trying to juggle a few things here. The Holiday is a surprise and I only found out about it this week.  As I have not had to pay for it, [yet  ] it`s a nice surprise.

Ive got a shameful confession. Wont be making the Orient game. Somehow earlier on in the year I must have been hoodwinked into going off for the weekend on Half2s and my ten year anniversary. It was ten years ago apparently that we met. It was an unforgettable weekend. It was the day after England got a goalless draw in Rome to secure a 98 world cup place. Every time is see Wrightey I remember his heroic performance that made me so happy I went on a bender and met half2. Every time I see Wrighty I tell her that’s the fella that made her so happy as well. Shes very gratefull

And thanks to you too Pat! Great meeting everyone on Saturday. Felt like coming home and got a little lump in my throat at Billy's statue, never having seen it "live".
Simon and Tina got some pics, so I hope they can get them online soon. Thanks again for a great day everybody. Shame about the result, but I was so wrapped up with being in ER among friends for the first time in years that even that couldn't spoil my day. |

Chatroom was busier than expected 6 or 7 in, which was surprising as a few of you went to the game... wer'nt quite sure if there was gonna be anybody, but it was really good after all, and how could we miss ya, with bloody gopher on phone to Pat every 2 min's and keepin us updated, so dont start tellin porkies about seein the game, unless you saw it from the bar

My first time at ER in years - I wasn't gonna miss a minute! Did have a pint at half-time though - and a few before - and a couple more after! Glad you weren't too lonely in the room though and I'l be back at my usual post come the next match. |
