The statement says that comments did not reflect the views of the club, and that they were taken out of context. But then again, hardly likely that a gobby coach talks out of turn and the media report it with an angle. Since when have football managers been responsible for / allowed freedom of comment on club policy? Remind me what Blackwell was supposedly sacked for by our glorious leader? |
