The Uphill Task Of Righting Leeds WrongsFrom todays' Guardian

He's right about us trying to play proper football - most of the teams above us do play on the ground and I thought the game against Walsall showed the first seeds of his style coming through. I just hope he's given time to do things his way. We simply cannot have another manager coming in.
My only concern is that he finds Stachan inspiring - not sure if many Celtic fans would agree
Looking for a Leeds / Rangers double this weekend

I knew summat was up, when Poyet left, shoulda kept him and pissed Wise off.

Interesting read. No surprises that Poyet was the man the players responded to. Maybe Wise was just Bates' stooge who cut and ran.

Good read Cheers
Its becoming more and more apparent that that Wise fella was a bit of a shyster. Why didn’t anyone warn us?
Fully endorsring The Macca revolution at the mo. The Jan-Feb spell will be the undoing of us though this season. Unless we get the verdict with the points.

I think it sometimes happens that the 'main man' is the go between guy. Look at Paul Ince at MK Dons. He also had great success at Macclesfield but speaking to guys there they hardly saw him and he was more a figurehead with Ray Mathias (No.2) running the show. However often the number 2's don't make good number 1's Queiroz, Kidd, McLaren etc spring to mind.
