The budgetThere are sveral in depth pices of analysis on the budget on line.
Most are clear as mud, so I will attempt to highlight the main points.
You WILL be paying more taxes.
This may be dressed up as saving the environment / abolishing child poverty / curing societys ill, but the result remains the same.
The government will be taking more of your wages and pissing it up against the wall with two-thirds of bugger all to show for it, just like they always do.
I hope that is clear?

I thought it well done, end of child poverty, end of fuel poverty, end of the scurge of plastic bags, smokers deservidly hit where it hurts...about the only thing missing was a tax on idiots who rearrange football matches with less than 3 months notice.....

I applaud this government for just fineing (read taxing) everyone for every single mis demeanor they might do - this way it "shows" that the new "introduced" policy works

Did you know they one of the means of establishing child poverty is not having central heating or double glazing?
By that definition nearly every kid in my school was in poverty...
