Stability and continuity for the club and the players, a coach intent on putting out sides with some level of discipline, and sides playing football not hoof ball....Good news.

Good news in that it brings us some stability. Still not 100% convinced about him.

I hope that your renewed hope proves correct.
I saw the highlights of the Donny game on LUTV and we could easily have lost the game despite what was considered an improved performance. I know highlights can sometimes be misleading and we may indeed have played very well but they had enough chances to beat us. In the end its the result that counts more than the performance and part of the skill of playing football is too take your chances but I still have my concerns.

My worry is that we are saying the same things AGAIN that we said when Wise & Poyet were on their winning streak - we kept being very fortunate to win games but results counted
I would like to know whether our performances are improving to a level beyond the Wise era - I like Gary Mac and I think he is the first manager who has Leeds in his blood from his time with us

True enough comments. It is only right and fair to judge each on their merits. and to compare eggs with eggs.
Macca has taken on a reasonable Div 1 squad, lacking form, confidence, shape, discipline and spirit. A lot to do in not a lot of time. But at least he had the bottle to take on the challenge.
Maybe he is not the right man, but he should be judged on the whole job in hand, and be given support.

were not going to have a game in this leauge where we totaly dominte. the payers are simply not good enough for that. and thats down to the leauge. yes its nice to see us playong well and last 3 games have been some of best for season but at the moment id rather us win badly than play well and draw/lose we need the points. so we can get out of this leauge and then think about playing football. yes its very nice if we can do both but the pointsare too important atm.
a lot of credit has to go to sheehan for the last three games. pretty much solid since he has come back. hes shut up a hole that has been there since clapham went.
i wasnt sure about macca.. i could see what he was trying to do and liked the idea he was making us play football but id didnt seem to be working at first. however it seems to be working now and weve had our blip lets hope its full steam ahead to the playoff final and championship

Stability is the only way forward - we must all back Gary Mac and get that sense of unity back because, as has been said, our team is not as good as those at the top of this league.
Personally I think we will go undefeated until the end of the season

Ok the decisions made - tho iIMHO 6 games too early
Lets hope he has the team as fit as Wise and Co had at the start of the next season

Macca said in a recent interview that the squad he took over was not fit. I seem to remember Wise complaining about the level of fitness when he took over, and a fitness coach got the boot too. Perhaps is was Poyet that got the squad fit, and perhaps Macca's regime has now got them fit again. Or perhaps incoming managers need something to point at as proof of wrongs they have put right, to justify their positions.
