Can't help with that one Baldy.....I avoid using bikes because it is my experience that as soon as any otherwise sensible road user mounts a bike they turn into a senseless arse.

Perhaps it's the saddle cutting in....?
I was shocked the other day. I was stopped at a red traffic light and a cyclist stopped next to me! And he didn't use the roof of my car as a leaning post!

Surprised the bike stopped. Round here they mount the pavement, taking out anyone waiting to cross the road, and cycle around the inconveniently placed road traffic control.
In fact at night, if the they have overlooked the trivial point of putting batteries into their lights, they cycle the whole route on the pavement, and use the red lights to cycle across the pedestrian crossing to make their journey even more speedy and direct. Damn these tax paying motorists.

The saddle needs to be narrow so that you don’t constantly rub the inside of your legs on it. Believe me no matter of much discomfort you get with a narrow saddle it will be nothing compared to a wide saddle. You will get used to a narrow one along the same lines as Robbie Williams would get used to prison.
There was one other thing I thought I had to say to you Cyclist haters. oh what was it now. errrr. Hmmmmm… Ahhh yes………

If you had my experiences you would hate them too. I could leave a pub with 3 blokes I know talking about the 20 miles they cycled that Sunday morning, go home, move home, go on holiday, put kids through education, work a career, change career then retire and go for a drink, and the boring gits will still be yacking on about the same shite without having done anything of interest to any other normal human being in the mean time. Needless to say I avoid.
