i read it earier. i was thinking who is jason beckett ? is he some young superstar then i read the top leauge one scorer  how do they get jason beckett from jermain beckford ?

Hes a good League One striker and with a bit of improvement could be a decent championship striker.
Yes his decision making is not spot on. His first touch needs working on and his petulance needs diluting but is there a better striker in this division. Surely the overriding factor is how it will impact our promotion chances this season. I think they would be greatly reduced, 1.5 million or 2.5 million. Who else will get the goals we need? Tres? Constantine? Not Likely. |

If he goes then so does any chance of promotion, unless we're about to sign Anelka...
Besides, it looks a good chance that we'll be playing Derby next season anyway
