This seems far fetched. Either it is right or wrong - not half way - you cannot be a little bit pregnant!!!

Right or wrong we'll take anything at this stage because I don't see us going up on our own  Sad

The thing is, and to be fair to the lads, we have done enough so far to get us up on our own, given that our results up to this point would see us in 2nd place without the points deduction.  Despite our recent poor run we still have the second best goal difference in the division and I still think that will have a part to play come the end of the season.

So, although I have serious reservations about Macca's ability to execute his role in the way we need him to in order to get us out of this division, the more I think about it we really mustn't lose sight of the fact that we did start the season 15 points behind everyone else and to be where we are at the moment is an achievement in itself.

I'm now going for a lay down as I'm worried I might be coming down with a bout of common sense..

we'll get nowhere with macca in charge, imho.

I agree, he's certainly no Blackwell, who I'm pleased to see is doing a fine job reviving the Blunts.

I think Macca could sort it out given time. But time is not a luxury that will be extended to Macca. Doom and gloom all round. Shame Poyet left and we got left with the mongrel runt....It all may have been so different.

I'm sorry to say I agree with the Macca verdict. Completely out of his depth in managerial terms after a very mediocre showing at Coventry.

What is sad is that the cowardly chairman brought him in as a sop to the fans instead of going for someone like Mad Dog Allen who might actually have got something out of the shower we currently have at the club and made a real push for promotion. But then he'd have done things the Allen way, not the Bates way...  Evil or Very Mad

Leeds have a 25-30 per cent chance of having the penalty overturned.

What a legal genius - make him chief justice of the Hague.

I can make a comment like that - totally and utterly meaningless. He might as well have said 50 or 70 or 99 per cent - either way he'll be 'correct' in his assessment.

As has been said before we'll get enough points back so as not to make a difference - and on current form we'd need more than that to get promoted.

Any "victory" will be a moral one only.

Thing is, whilst on holiday, I have been thinking about this.

At first the minus 15 gave us the fighting spirit to take on all comers but now those 15 pts are a noose around players necks. They look at the table and see we should be in second place instead of 10th and that is then disheartening, so what had a positive influence at the start of the season is now creating a negative effect.
