iTunes advice please

I have my shiny new iPod Touch with which I'm very happy and I've got a iTunes account and have downloaded several albums and individual tracks and uploaded about half my CD collection. I've even bought an FM transmitter so I can listen in the car.

However, is there any way in iTunes to listen to a snippet of a track before you download it? There are a couple of artistes and albums I'm interested in but I don't want to splash the cash without hearing a sample first. I'm sure that there must be someway of doing this - every other on-line music store seems to have this facility.

Any pointers?

You ever tried double clicking on the track?

I uses iTunes to store my music library on, but not iStore as I download from "other" sources.   Wink   My method is, download the album you want, put it into iTunes and listen to the tracks you want.  You then have two choices, stick with it and upload to the pod of your choice.  Or, delete all / part of the album, thus giving more space to more music.  I usually put the whole album onto my iPod as it's big enough to do so and you never know, one day you might just like the track you though you never would!

Like I said, before these two got in, you double click on the song you want and you hear a 20 or so second clip of it which is helpful because it comes from the middle of the song rather than the start so gives you a better idea.
