Good to see the British Broadcasting Corporation employing an American who clearly doesn't know anything about football from the way she narrated that story....
Mind you, BBC World is a waste of space. We were in Nice a few years ago (when Leeds were still a top flight club!) and the hotel had BBC World, so I tuned in late on Saturday afternoon hoping to see the footy results - nowt!
Not even mentioned. Yet over on CNN, there was a non stop flow of American sporting results and reports.

Its a service for people who dont live in this country, its the main source of accurate news in many countries and broadcasts to most of the developed world. It focuses on the particular area that you are watching it in. The same goes for the World Service on radio, its just an extension of that service.
