It's nice to seeThat the resentment of that abomination that was the sh*t factors winner (whatever her name is) destruction of one of the best songs ever written lead Jeff Buckley's definitive version of the song to number two. It's a tragedy that it didn't make it to the top because what beat it is atrocious, that shows producers can't be bothered to get someone to write a new song each for the talentless cr*p that they bring to the public's attention means that they have finally got to the point were they used a good song from the past rather than some sh*t from Mariah Carey (that I managed to never hear despite a horrendous onslaught on this country's unsuspecting public). It's a sad state that every year we are guaranteed a Christmas number one thrown out of that Boyle on this countries television schedules whose success is brought instantaneously and without reason by piggybacking someone else's song.

Hallelujah is (reportedly) Simon Cowells favourite song. Lenoard Cohen should make a few quid out of it too - and he could do with it.

The girl Has a very good voice and does the song well. Jeff Buckley, although ok, has been given far too much credence. he was good, but not that good!!
x factor is a modern version of opportunity knocks, and although I don't watch it much, I do think people get a tad over excited about it.

This is the first year I have watched the Xfacter all the way through, I just usually watch the auditions. The winner has a very good voice, but I thought the winners song was the wrong choice. It reminds me of the film Shrek
