I thoughtWe came out of the game with more than we deserved. Macca was visibly relieved when we got a goal back. We were second best for too long, and could have been buried by the 95th minute. Perhaps this time, we wll take our second chances.

We got out of jail tonight. Very poor all-round performance particularly our defence. The players seemed unable to raise themselves in front of 36,000 and I think Carlisle could have finished us off tonight if they had not sat back on the 2 goal lead.
Only crumb of comfort is our away form but then again Carlisle have a great home record

We were largely awful, but still only lost by one goal. We simply couldn't play that badly again on Thursday if we tried and at least our game-plan will be a straightforward one - win the game!
