Now then, My name is halfaperson and I am responding to an invitation to join your merry band. It is an honour and a privilege to be afforded such an invitation but I don’t know if I can fulfil the membership criteria. I fear my spontaneous wit and intelligence will fall short of the mark set down by the forum members I know from previous sites.

I must also inform you that my musical taste has an evolved and discriminating element to it and I fear it may not be appreciated by most.

It’s a similar doubt I have with my drinking pallet. Alas, I suspect that most of you will have been saturated by now with Stella Artois, chemically laced cider on ice or some other preposterous concoction of similar repulsiveness. However, I also suspect that like most of you I do share an occasional bout of practising capacity before contentment.

Summer is a season for Cricket, Rugby League, Gardening, BBQs, Al Fresco slurping and constantly wishing death on the neighbours’ frigging ridiculously noisy dog . There is so little time for arsing about on the net. Even The Hun has lost its adhesive appeal. All this, I fear may alienate me from the rest of the forum as I know what a right bunch of heathen eejits you are Wink

. That said, subject to acceptance from the admin I will happily be posting on here in the future. How could I not Very Happy
