Gallery ExhibitionI've posted this in here as we don't seem to have an "Arts" section (philistines).

This is a collection of photographs taken in and around Leeds in the 1960's and 1970's. There is a feature on it in tonights YEP and it looks fantastically evocative. If you've got the paper you'll see the Methodist Church at Seacroft (which is still standing) and the shop next door (which isn't) before the area was redeveloped. I can remember going into that shop as a kid - it was a proper old fashioned shop, just like you remember.

You can also contribute photos of your own from the same time, and they want to know if you (or anyone you knwo) are in any of the photos.
Anyway, it's on from the 27th February at the Whithall Waterfront gallery, which is off Whitehall Road - take the riverside walk from the station.
Maybe I'll see you there.
