Fulham want Delph on loan - ha ha ha ha haAccording to Tribal football Fulham want Delph on loan
I've always thought Tribal football was a joke in terms of its rumours and I think this proves it
Why in the name of all that is holy would we loan Delph to anyone?

They want Derby's Barnes on loan too. I'm not sure what they're trying to do, except unsettle players. Why would Derby or Leeds release their best players on loan when entering a vital period for both clubs?

As said, why would they go to a no hope club. My concern is that if we don't go up, Delph will have little choice but to go in the summer. And who could blame the lad in his own best interest because that is the way it works these days.

Having said that, Barnes has joined them on loan and Hodgson reckons he'll get another target on loan too, so I suppose there could be some truth to the rumour - particularly since apparently several papers have mentioned it.
It makes no sense to me. If we sold him for a pile of cash up front I wouldn't be happy, but I'd understand Bates' motivation, but to let someone like that go on loan is crazy. We'd be deprived of his services, and if he gets a serious injury Bates would miss out on a big transfer fee in the summer as well.

If they want to pay 6 million for a loan (without permanent move) then sure, be my guest

Dacourt to Fulham should kill off speculation surrounding Delph

If he is half as classy as he was with us, good signing.

Rumours abounded today that Fulham football club were to hire former England manager Terry Venables to pick Dacourt up at the airport.
The story goes, that it's a life-long ambition of the man affectionately known as EL Tel (and less affectionately known as that Cockney Spiv), to one day do an airport drive for Dacourt.
Although Venables was not available to comment, his friend Kevin Keegan said 'Terry would luv it, just luv it, if he got to do an airport drive with Dacourt, Heathrow is a MASSIVE airport'
Peter Ridsdale (who was Leeds' chairman at the time Venables was manager) sounded a cautionary note. 'A similar thing happened in our time at Leeds together', said Ridsdale. 'I cover the story in the screenplay to my new movie "How to lose a football club in 100 million easy steps (subtitled Don't blame the Goldfish or me)". Back then Terry promised to drive Olivier to the airport, so we sold him to Roma and then Terry said he was busy that night selling a couple of used cars. We had to hire a taxi and borrow the money to pay for it. Naturally I drove a hard bargain as per usual. I told the cabbie that we were paying him 50k only and not a penny more. Still I believe that the interest on that loan was the straw that broke the camel's back and drove us into financial meltdown.'
Yorkshire waits with baited breath.
