Feeder at the AcademyWent to our natty new Academy on Friday night to see Feeder (again). It's a rather nice place, even though the floor is already horribly sticky, good quality Carling (unlike a lot of places in Leeds that water it down) even if it was horrendously expensive.
As for Feeder they were fantastic as usual. They had a great lighting stage behind them this time which made the effect even better. As this is the actual album tour (rather than last time when they were previewing it) it was a much bigger show and Buck Rogers had been reincorporated in the act. They played for about an hour and a half in total including the old hits and the new stuff, and a really great acoustic version of Silent Cry in the encoure along with Just A Day.
As Lost and Found was about to be played Grant asked the crowd for a singalong because we would all know the words and proceeded to set the crowd off in an unexpected rendition of All My Life by the Foo's, was rather fun.
Mark (the drummer) being a leeds boy had a fantastic looking LUAFC drumkit that put the kaisers leeds stuff to shame ( ).
If you haven't heard the new album I reccomend it very highly, they're suffering from being at that point where Radio 1 have got bored of them and so their songs only get onto the C-list for playing so have gone out of the public eye a bit. The latst single is one of my favourite songs of the moment.

You should never drink Carlsberg again, in protest at what they're doing to Tetleys.
