Euromillions

You might already be aware that this weeks 'Euromillions' lottery draw is a megadraw with an estimated jackpot of £85 million.  Shocked

Thats quite a lot of money, I'm sure you'd agree.

Discussing the possibility of winning such a sizeable sum with a mate, he asked if I won, would I use the money to rescue Leeds United from the clutches of Ken Bates.

And do you know, I don't think I would. Firstly I reckon he'd want more than that - and if he did agree to sell you'd still have the stadium and TA to buy back.

I reckon I could find lots of better ways to spend that sort of money rather than buying the bloody football club, which would surely be the fastest possible way of returning yourself to non-millionaire status....

For 500k I could by Rushden and keep them afloat, I would never have a dealing with Uncle Ken.

I'd probably buy a box for the season and sponsor a player, but thats about it really.  Might even buy a few share etc, but wholehearted investment, No.

Like Armley, I would buy a box.....A wooden one with brass handles for Ken
