One can but hope.. Friend of mine from UK reckons Derry's got 2 MOM awards out of last 6 games he's played whilst out on loan, and this is at a higher level.

Joking apart. There has to be a problem between Wise and Derry!
Unless he has deteriorated badly in the interim, but IMHO he was the only Leeds player of any quality in the play-off season. He has not featured or had a sniff of a first-team place since the mole incident, despite being fit enough to play 6 full games straight for Palace! He has had injuries but not to the extent of his prolonged absence, not even making the bench!
Suspect bad blood and a permanent move to CP, where he is obviously appreciated!

One has to wonder though how Derry appearing in the first team might affect others. I am not talking about players seeing Wise back down but remember that Wise probably knew who the mole was but asked the player to admit it. Presumably most of the team knew who it was but apparently the mole never confessed. Now if it was Derry and he didn't confess but his team mates thought it was him it would hardly be harmonious to put him in the team.
