CrookNo not Bungling Bill F but as in the Aussie Vernacular. Had to be taken home from work last Tuesday and spent three days in bed. Gawd knows what it was but it laid me out big time. Just about compus mentus now with a beard ive never seen before. A curious mix of Ginger and grey. Apparently my mum used to knock about with Denis Law in his Huddersfield days. (maybe like her ive got some scum in me  )
Missed two games so it must have been serious but at least I can fart now with confidence. Any how not going back to work till Wednesday to make a full and proper recovery so need a few gentle housey tasks to keep me occupied. Not too strenuous but any suggestions?

Sounds like the dreaded Manflu to me, so it's important to take it steady and not rush your recovery.
You need to take on board plenty of fluids (Timothy Taylors Landlord contains all the essential vitamins and minerals you need at a time like this, in a convenient and easy to drink form) and get plenty of rest - strictly no housework, which could cause a nasty relapse.

Do alittle gentle shopping, buy some nice stuff for tea Monday and Tuesday....Oh and a few bottles of Harvey's Old......Nice drop.....Goes really well with beef stew and dumplings IMO

This theory was pretty much exploded on GMTV a few weeks back when a survey showed that the weaker sex really ARE - tthey fall quicker and take longer off work etc than us hardier types when the WOmanflu hits!
