This is on the LUFC site and also confirmed by Wise on BBC Leeds yesterday.
He came to Leeds for talks but Wise wouldn't put any terms on the table saying that Johnson (or his agent more specifically) would simply use Leeds' offer to negotiate a deal elsewhere. Well done Wisey I reckon. Told Johnson and his agent that if Johnson wanted to join Leeds then he should get back to us and they'd thrash out an agreement with none of this 'give us a couple of days to think about it' response allowing them to use the offer as a bargaining chip with other clubs.

Is he any good though ? and will he add to the squad or just be here for cover?, cos I cant say I've ever heard of him, well living in OZ, I guess there's a lot of players I aint heard of

He's the wobbs best player, and was expected to move into the chapionship at least

I suspect he's still mulling over all the offers he might still have, or maybe his agent thinks there are more offers to come.

Well Leicester were after him and they are usually good at spotting up and coming talent. Cant blame him for not wanting to go there though, it is a bum hole of a place.

I also wonder if the club doesn't simply release names as a sort of smokescreen whilst doing deals elsewhere. It seems the players we sign (such as Kilkenny and the Stoke guy) get signed and then announced (classic Bates) whereas several names get mentioned and nothing happens.
