BournemouthBournemouth are now on the brink of disappearing from the FL:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/footbal ... 328531.stm
If they go before the end of the season and the points scored against them are deducted, the impact is:
Swansea 3 points (1 game to play)
Carlisle 3 points
Donny 3 points
Forest 3 points
Southend 6 points
Tranmere 3 points
Leeds 6 points
(borrowed from SqBall)
As some said over there that could mean Leeds are deducted 31 pts in 12 months!

plus
Brighton -6
Oldham -6
Walsall -1
Orient -3
that could f*ck things up big style......maybe they will pity on us and give us our 15 pts back

Serious - They introduced new legislation to prevent it happening again

To be honest though if Bournemouth were deducted points now it would make no difference as they as good as down already (6 points away from safety 4 games left). What it does though is potentially strengthen the league's case if they do deduct the points, or strengthen Leeds's case if they don't.
Would be hilarious in a way if Bournemouth miraculously scraped enough points together to stay up but then got deducted 15 points as a result of our hearing with the league. Their fans already hate us for the trouble 18 years ago.

I hope they survive, and Luton and Cardiff. elements of Leeds fans are the biggest load of double standards moaners in the country with the "one rule for us, why is it always us" shite, and yet amongst the first and most vociferous to jump on the bandwagon of any other clubs misfortunes.

I wasn't jumping on the bandwagon.
I was making an observation and questioning whether the same would apply thereby securing equity for all.
Personally I think we should get 15pts back and they shouldn't lose 15 pts. Losing pts when you are already under financial pressure is absolutley ludicrous, nothing like kicking a horse when its down.

I wasn't aiming a shot at you, or about you, or any other particular individual. I was making a personal observation of "elements" of fans that appear to me to have victim mentalities whenever there is bad news involving Leeds.

A rule that was introduced (at least in part) due to the activities of our old friends the Richmonds when they were in charge over at Valley Parade, who went bust in spectuacular fashion having signed players up to ridiculously overpaid contracts which they couldn't afford when they got relegated and got someone else (PFA?) to pay while having the best players in the league on their books.
