Boat Licence Realised other day, after clearing me wallett out, that me boat licence had expired, was sure I'd renewed it last year for 3 years, went to waterways office to arrange for em to send me a new licence, they said according to their records, mine had expired last year, and I gotta sit a new test, and with new rules now in place, I have to do a course as well  , after a bit of ranting and raving, they said i'd just have to do the test, guess what ???
I failed it miserably , then they said i'd deffinitely have to do the course now, so I booked the course through them for a fortnights time, got home and lo and behold, me bloody missus hands me a piece of paper, and guess what it was, was me receipt from last year paying for my renewal, so back off i head to waterways office, to prove to em I had renewed it and to cancel the course thingy, no drama they issued me an interim one till proper one is posted, but chap on counter said they were gonna watch out for me on water, cos with me knowledge of current rules, I could be a danger  ..
