April 25th ANZAC DAYToday, Anzac Day, marks the real beginning of a nation - probably the greatest country on the planet, in these days anywayIf you could spend just 10 mins today Googling what Anzac Day is and what it means to Australia, I would appreciate it. Im an ex-soldier of 10 years service, so maybe its a bit more special to me than some others but today is a very special day Im very proud to be an Englishman, and even prouder to be a Yorkshireman, but this great country I live in, is a wonderful place to behold, and what shaped it is all about the Anzac spirit and how this great country was forged Here is the recent campaign to support RSL and Legacy at this time, but please have a hunt around and see what Australia did for the Empire and what it still does today http://www.raiseaglass.com.au |

Have had a good look Pete, on Sky news this morning there was a piece on it, me and dad watched it, old soldier too.  Lots of stories he has from the war. Please people, take 10 minutes to look at the link.
