We do get pilloried for having a paranoia that everyone is against us. I don’t know how anyone can possibly not recognize The Press, especially the London Press and the BBC have mounted an anti leeds campaign for at least 40 years now. So much so that an article like that stands out like a straight Casper Angerken dead ball kick. I haven’t actually got a response from them ravey it wasn’t meant to be taken literally but.... The year we got relegated from the Prem the twat wrote a spiteful piece in his Times column when it was certain we were going down saying we deserved it. In fact the pillock never missed an opportunity to have a go at us. Notwithstanding that, his columns in the Sunday times are usually pretty good especially his England views. Anyway I sent him a letter, name address, phone number the lot telling him I took serious issue with him abusing his privileged reporting status to air his prejudiced anti Leeds views. I told him if he was ever in Yorkshire I wanted to speak to him personally about it. It wasn’t a threatening letter by any means but a green pen was all i had at the time Laughing

Last year when we went down he slipped a snide comment about us getting relegated again in a totally unrelated article and actually made a point of saying good riddance to us. Well pen got put to paper again and again I didn’t hide behind anonyminity only this time I asked for a picture and a rendezvous in London where we could discuss it as I was going to be in London the following weekend. Like I said I haven’t heard from them in any sense over either letter so I haven’t a clue what happened to the letters. I can say that I have read his column every week this season and he hasn’t uttered a dickie bird about us Cool

I must admit I was pleasantly surprised a month or so ago when Tim Lovejoy stated on the telly that he felt sorry for Leeds fans and wanted to see us back in the top flight on "Something for the weekend"...
