Albums you absolutely love

A bit corny maybe but just a bit of fun. Not necessarily impossibly naming best album of all time or  top ten, just an album you find yourself going back to again and again and still loving it.
Start the ball rolling with the Stone Roses first album Stone Roses. I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of it, utterly brilliant in everyway

Agreed, top album.

Also, Obsession by UFO - fantastic album by the most under-rated rock band from Britain
EW

The Mamma Mia cd is good! Cool
Baldy

Bowie - The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars.
(my all time favourite)

Dylan - Blonde on Blonde ( the finest rock album ever produced )
Tommo

mmmmmmmm hard to choose but Genesis- The Lamb lies down is very close along with Nursery Cryme, wind and wuthering and trick of the tale.
raveydavey

Blondie - Parallel Lines

The Adult Net - The Honey Tangle http://www.last.fm/music/The+Adult+Net/+videos/5484775

Eminem - The Marshall Mathers LP

Kylie - Fever

Reverend and the Makers - The State of Things

Is that diverse enough for you?  Very Happy

Very eclectic (or is that eccentric  Wink  ) Never heard of the Adult Net and darent even look at the link.

Doesn’t have to be naming your favourite all time Tommo just albums you keep going back to. I find it impossible to name all time best etc, it changes all the time.

Another one for me is Rattlesnakes by Lloyd Cole

The link is quite safe, I assure you  Wink  You'd probably like them, that was the only ablum they released (I think)
Garp

Go through phases, but my roots are in the 70's. So I drift back to Bowie (hard to pick one - Sometimes Aladin Sane, sometimes Diamond Dogs, sometimes Station to Station). The Clash album is a fave of mine, and a regular fix of Rudy and The Specials is essential Very Happy . No particular albums, just groups of bands that take me to times in my life I suppose.
cardboardbox?Youwerelucky

Automatic for the People by REM (was just a great time in my life and this album reflected everything) - can still listen to it at any point and be transported back to THAT summer

Complete / Utter / Any Madness combination album - again takes me back to being 9 again and just great to listen to

Nevermind - Nirvana (again another take me back in time album)

Whats the story morning glory - Oasis
Baldy

Other than Garp, and Boxy's REM, dont you people have any taste

Ahem, back on topic  Wink

London Calling, The Clash. Timelessly brilliant
Garp

Yes it was. Takes me to when I was living in a hostel near Whitechapel early 80's. Lived in a high rise in Whitechape next, and associate that place with Close To You and Golden Brown. Got given a plastic sax when I was in the high rise by a friend and the only song I could play on it was Rudy. Drove missus and flat mates mental. Very Happy
